Team Motorola Eddy Merckx

While all of the projects we do are special, this Eddy Merckx was a standout for us. This frame, currently owned by a former Amercian Pro, was Sean Yates’ team race bike. It had been raced hard and looked like it. There was alot of surface rust and the top tube cable guides were completely rusted out. We did a ton of work to bring this one back including brazing on new cable guides.

Sean Yates’ name was redrawn from the original peeling decal and we stenciled that on to the top tube beside the sponsor decals. We love seeing bikes returned their former glory and we hope it gets many more years of love and time on the road.
