VéloColour and Maghalie Rochette - the CXFever tour is coming to Toronto!
When we’re not in the shop designing and painting bikes, repairing cycling kit and carbon fibre frames, or making bike bags, we’re (perhaps unsurprisingly) busy finding other ways to fill our time with bikes. Sure, touring Kyrgyzstan (or Japan - more to follow on that in November) might not always fit in with the demands of a hectic small business, but there’s plenty of ways to be on bikes most of the year and much closer to home. For Suzanne and Noah, that sometimes takes the form of cyclocross (aka CX) - that delightfully absurd form of racing laps on all terrains with slightly-too-skinny tyres that just add to the fun.
This 2025 season we’ve rolled a little deeper with our love of cyclocross by becoming a sponsor of Magalie Rochette and the CXFever Tour.
You know, the cyclocross World Cup winner, multi-time CX Canadian National Champion, and all-round kick-ass CX, MTB, and gravel racer balanced focus on maximum fun and environmental responsibility.
On top of this she also finds the time to host the Fever Talk podcast - covering all things cyclocross and cx community. Last year we were lucky enough to feature on a special episode about VéloColour’s sustainability efforts. It’ll come as no surprise that racing is tough on bikes and clothing alike, so our kit repair program came up in conversation and planted the seed for a partnership that we’re now excited to formally announce.
To coincide with the 2025 season, Maghalie is travelling throughout Canada and the US to attend races, run skills clinics - encouraging the next generation of racers, host pre-race rides with fans, and a whole bunch more under the umbrella of the CXFever tour.
Maghalie is also using the tour to promote her new book which she somehow found time to write. We did say she’s totally kick-ass, right?
VéloColour has a number of parts to play in the CXFever Tour and we’re particularly pumped to be partnering with kit repair drop-offs at every race along the way.
That’s right, we’re trying something totally different and disrupting the norms of cycling consumption with a travelling damaged-kit, drop-off collection. We’ve been expanding our repair programs over the years and working with Maghalie (and partner David) we’re able to take this one step further by bringing it to the people. We'll have a drop-off point at the races where you can leave your damaged cycling gear where it will be collected and sent to VéloColour HQ for repair before making a solo return trip.
With prices starting at just $25 CAD, repair is an affordable way to make your kit last longer, and as an added benefit, keep it out of landfill for a little longer - so if you’re headed to any of the CXFever Tour stops, bring your gear with you and head over to Maghalie’s SRAM tent for drop off. It’s a great reason to stop by and say hello!
The CXFever tour kicks off in early September in Quebec and finishes in early October in Chicago. Here’s all the dates for your diaries:

Before the CXF Tour gets too deep in the sand it will be rolling through Toronto. We’re lucky enough to have Maghalie visiting right here in Toronto for two days.
On September 16th, we’re very excited to be hosting a night of stories and snacks in our shop.
Maghalie will be here to share some tales from her years of racing around the globe, and what she’s learned from her many successes and challenges along the way. RSVP here - There will also be Tacos! and some things to drink too.
In typical Maghalie fashion she will also be hosting a cx skills clinic on the 17th with the Midweek Cycling Club while she’s in town. I’m sure that will be a blast.
